Call for Papers, International Journal of Stress Management:
The International Journal of Stress Management invites manuscript proposals for a Special Issue on Health and Wellbeing in Academic Employees. The special issue will present international research from different theoretical and methodological perspectives in order to advance knowledge and practice in the field of stress and wellbeing in academic employees. Deadline for abstract submissions is November 8, 2015. Work Stress and Health 2015, Early Bird Registration, deadline approaching:
April 10th is the deadline for Early Bird Registration at the 11th International Conference on Occupational Stress and Health (WSH 2015) in Atlanta. Conference details and online registration available at:http://www.apa.org/wsh/
SOHP Student Travel Award 2015, deadline upcoming:
SOHP is sponsoring five student travel awards to help graduate students pay for travel costs to attend the 11th International Conference on Occupational Stress and Health (WSH 2015) in Atlanta. Each award is worth $200.00. To be eligible, a student must be a member of SOHP and have a paper/poster accepted for presentation at the conference. Deadline for applications is February 27, 2015. Work, Stress and Health Conference 2015:
Thank you to everyone who helped with peer review of submissions for the 2015 Work, Stress and Health Conference. Authors whose proposals have been accepted have been informed, and we look forward to seeing many of you at the conference in Atlanta this May. Registration for the conference will begin in February, be sure to register early to get the arly Bird registration rate!

2015 Work, Stress and Health Conference organizers now accepting late-breaking poster proposals through 1/5/15:
A limited number of late-breaking abstract submissions will be accepted for presentation at the 2015 Work, Stress & Health Conference as posters only. Proposals must be received no later than January 5, 2015. This late-breaking cateogry of submissions has been created to permit a limited number of very recent results to be presented at the conference. To submit your research as a late-breaking poster, please contact Wes Baker at: firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions on how to proceed, and also if you have any questions. This is the only exception to the earlier original submission deadline of October 20, 2014.
Extended deadline aproaching for Work Stress and Health conference proposals:
The deadline to submit proposals for Work, Stress, and Health 2015: Sustainable Work, Sustainable Health, Sustainable Organizations, cosponsored by APA, NIOSH and SOHP. is quickly approaching. Proposals should be submitted online via the conference website: www.apa.org/wsh/ by 11:59 PM EDT on Monday, October 20th.
Reviewers needed for Work Stress and Health conference proposals:
SOHP members are encouraged to volunteer as reviewers for the 2015 Work Stress and Health conference. If you have not signed up for reviewing, please consider doing so! Reviewing will take place between October 17 and November 7, 2014. Minimum requirement to serve as a reviewer -- master's degree in a related field. Editor of Journal of Occupational Health Psychology Named:
Dr. Peter Chen has been appointed as the next Editor of the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. Dr. Chen, who will succeed current Editor, Dr. Joseph J. Hurrell, will serve as Incoming Editor of JOHP in 2015 and will officially assume Editor duties in 2016.
